poetry set to sound
“dreaming of kaleidoscopes is wonderful. I featured it on my show tonight. Thank you. Thank you.” P. J. McGregor, CKDU
“I had a hard time getting into this at first, but the longer I listened to it, the more I liked it. Wind experiments with some different effects on the second side, and I found some of this a little more interesting than the first. Her poetry explores various topics including love, abortion and women’s rights, and she does an interesting rendition of “Children Learn What They Live,” an old folkpoem. Recommended for anyone into spoken-word, coffeehouse poetry.” Kim Ware-Mathews, gajoob 1997

“Thanks for sending your dreaming tape. It’s very enjoyable. It’s quite a beautiful tape and thoughtful too. It also has a certain caustic edge at times that I like. The production is excellent throughout the cassette and the voice is nicely mixed and easy to understand. I’ve played a couple of short things on the radio so far but you can bet I’ll be airing quite a bit of this one.” Don Campau, KFR
